I’ve been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while and first impressions are important and I did not have a good first... impression with this place. We made reservations weeks in advance and still had to wait. We were seated improperly and when weasked for better seating (per our reservation), we were ushered to the bar for drinks (which took over 15 minutes to order dueto the fact that we couldn’t flag down a bartender). We were finally seated but it was in the back, in a condensed littletable. After not eating all day, we just accepted the seating and made the best of it. The food was great, however. The wagyurice was delicious, along with the dragon sushi. The cocktails were exceptional. Amazing lychee martinis and THE BEST espressomartinis I’ve had in the city. Great and delicious food. The cocktails were amazing. The sushi’s were perfect, probably the best I’ve tasted in my life... (and I’m a sushi fan!). The waiter (Rahim) was super nice and friendly. From beginning to the end, this was a fantastic birthday celebration & dining experience. Upon arrival for our reservation we... were greeted & wished a happy birthday then promptly seated. The restaurant wasn't full so we asked for a window seat & that wasno problem. Our server (Brandon?) was knowledgeable about the drink menu & helped with our selections. We started off with porkgyoza & the chicken thigh which were equally delicious, then chose the chicken fried rice which was outstanding, sushi, and theJapanese wagyu bone-in ribeye with truffle mashed potatoes & sautéed mushrooms which was in total just unbelievably satisfying.The night was topped off with a birthday dessert for my girlfriend & very full bellies! Nice atmosphere, great DJ. Went here Friday night for a date night. Our service was great. It was around 10pm and we were able... to get a booth. Outdoor seating was full. We ordered a bunch of apps for the table: wagyu fried rice, chicken fried rice, veggietempura, chicken thighs, and lamb chops. It was okay. The lamb chops are $16 for ONE lamb chop about the size of a lollipop. Itonly tasted okay. The dessert sample was really good. Our drinks were great and the green tea shots were delicious.
