We wanted to have our rehearsal dinner for our wedding in Fells Point. We were told to work with Barbara Duke from their website... for private party. Barbara was helpful till we signed the contract and put down the deposit with her. The food was amazing butBarbara’s service was TERRIBLE and very unprofessional. We were told by Barbara that we could use the private room on thesecond floor in Fells Point Tavern and order food from Mezze. Upon arrival, the host at Fells Point Tavern had no clue about ourreservation and had to find Barbara. Barbara lied to us saying the air conditioning was broken and had to put us in a tinycorner space in Mezze, and was rude to my fiancée at the time when she asked for more clarification. The L-Shape table sheprovided to us made it very hard for our wedding party to mingle (The open space was one of the reasons we like about theprivate room in Fells Points Tavern). Upon further investigation, the air conditioning from the original space we agreed on wasin fact working, and the space she put us in was the room that had broken air conditioning and it was insanely hot the wholedinner. There was some sound equipment in the original space which could be the reason why Barbara didn’t want us to be in itso she didn’t have to move them. When we talked to both managers from Mezze and Fells Point Tavern, they really had noexplanation why Barbara would do that and they could not reach Barbara. It was quite a surprise when we showed up at therestaurant as she did not inform us anything prior to the dinner and all we got from Barbara was “The air conditioning in thatroom is broken and I figured you'd want to be where the air was.” in a terrible tone. Like I mentioned earlier, the food wasgreat and our guests liked them but working with Barbara was a huge disappointment and she was very unprofessional. Read more

My review is a bit delayed-- but I had to share about the AMAZING experience I had at Mezze on New Years Eve. After years of... overpriced and overcrowded "NYE Events" that charged $200 per person to wait in line for half the night, my friends and Idecided that we'd prefer a group dinner. I reached out to roughly 10 restaurants in the area, and was again, met with insanelyoverpriced and limited options. When I contacted Mezze, I received a prompt call from their events coordinator, Barbara-- whotalked me through the various options for our large group of 24. We agreed on a set tasting menu with 11 items plus an all youcan drink package for each person. The price per person was exceptional considering we had a private room with a full dinner ANDdrinks. When we arrived, the wait staff was super attentive to our various needs. It being a holiday, they had their handsquite full, and kindly agreed to extend our package to a later hour to accommodate. Despite the busy bar and kitchen, we wereserved with swiftly. The food. was. AMAZING! All 24 guests raved about how wonderful the tasting menu was. Often times, with alarge group and a set menu, the food can be dry and underwhelming. This was not the case-- everything was absolutely fantastic. It was hard to pick, but my personal favorites were the crab cakes and spinach pies. We even got dessert and coffee with ourmenu and the sweets were just as good! After dinner, our plan had been to explore other bars in the Fells area. However, wequickly realized that all the bars had crazy long lines, to squeeze into overly packed bars. The bar staff was quick to inviteus to stay, and took such good care of us-- even offering us a champagne toast when the clock struck midnight. After the balldropped, we made our way next door to their second location, Fells Street Tavern, and danced the night away with the DJ theyhad. It could not have been any more perfect. A HUGE (delayed) thank you to Barbara and her incredible team. Read more

what a lovely experience! we sat upstairs, which has a lovely view out the window and high ceilings. the service was attentive... and our waiter was extremely polite. we got a few dishes - everything should be shared - and it was overall great. The bronziniwas grilled a little too dry. but, de-boned and the flavors were on point. The zucchini fritters were a little too burnt - butour neighboring table’s dish looked much better. The crab cakes were probably our favorite. Large pieces of crab anddeliciously made. The lamb chops are also a must! Comes with some grilled potatoes. What a lovely dinner. Definitely comingback for more meals to share! Read more

This is a fantastic restaurant with an elegant interior and atmosphere. The building and bathrooms are always very clean and... beautiful. The staff are always super helpful when recommending wines and explaining the foods. I've been going here for specialoccasions for a few years now and I've never been disappointed. As for food recommendations I would say the grape leaves areamazing, the octopus is absolutely delicious, and the chicken kebab is like eating a cube of heaven. Read more
