We regularly frequent this place for pizza and salads. The staff is friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to help. I... enjoy making additions to the pizzas they have, getting additional cheese and pizza sauce. They'll give you dipping sauces uponrequest. I typically LOVE Mod Pizza but this location specifically (W 40th St) is absolute TRASH. Time 1 - waited about 45 minutes for... food. I went on a Friday night so I assumed it was because they were busy. Fine. I'll give it another try another time. Time 2 -ordered through the app. Still a very long wait. They originally made my pizza wrong so they had to make it again. They gave meboth pizzas but one was burnt so basically inedible. Time 3 - ordered through the app again. Waited awhile again. This was themiddle of the day so not sure why it took as long as it did. After this experience, I did the customer survey and they sent me acoupon for a free entree (or so I thought). Time 4 - attempting to redeem my coupon. Cannot because I got a "mega-dough" insteadof a regular pizza. Manager argues with me about "needing to read the coupon" Fair enough, I understand rules. So just remake mypizza as the regular one then. That's not enough - manager decides to "do me a favor" by having me pay the $2 difference. Ishould have walked out right then. The staff is always different and *never* accommodating, they either argue with you or sayliterally nothing at all. I enjoy the "build your own" pizza aspect of this chain and it's close to where I live but all of myexperiences have been subpar at best. I likely will never go back to this location. Read more
Would?ve gave 5 stars. But yesterday the manager at this location around 8pm, very disrespectful to me and my mother. He was... telling me when he wanted to put cheese on my pizza. The employees and managers that are being hired at this location have notype of manners or respect. They do not even greet you like the old staff would when you come in. Something needs to be done. Hesaid he was there for 3 months. But he was very rude and nasty. It was so difficult for him to make the salad and pizza. He hadan attitude about me asking for toppings on the pizza. He actually had the audacity to tell me and my mom when he wanted to addthe cheese to the pizza. To me that is not good customer service and it?s using force to customers. Definitely a family favorite! We havent been able to stop in lately but we're happy that we can still order and pickup these... delicious pizzas! You gotta like that all the pizzas cost the same regardless of toppings. Edit 11/10/22 - We got to eat in!Still great pizza and a fun family experience and environment. Everyone enjoyed their food.
