The buffet is back! And goes from 1130am until 3pm on weekends. Perfect for what we wanted. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Ordered: saag paneer, butter chicken, momos, onion naan, Kashmiri naan, one of the Nepalese dishes I forgot the name of Pretty... solid place if you want the “Indian restaurant” experience. All curries were flavored richly and everything was seasonedgenerously. Portions were standard, if not a little small, but the price was worth the delicious meal. Would have been 5 starsif we didn’t have to wait a good 30-40 mins for food, even though we were one of two parties in the entire restaurant! Wecame for dinner but I suspect this would be one of my favorite places if I came for the buffet — I just eat a lot. 8 Read more

I tried the Lunch Buffet (veg) here and the food was pathetic - pakodas were soggy, samosas had some foul smell. Veg biriyani... and white rice was so awful, Dal was tasteless, Naan was soggy as well. The only good items were aloo jeera, Gulab Jamoon andMasala Tea. That deserves an extra star if not it would have been 1 star! Also not to forget about the washrooms, they stink tothe core! Read more

One of the best-value Indian lunch buffet options (+) Attentive, fair & patient service, lower cost (13$ a person for weekday... lunch) for a decent variety of entree options before adding the fact the weekday buffet includes masala chai, 2 dessert optionsand basic fruits, soup and 3 types of bread (including the typical buffet complimentary naan). Saag dish was brighter/lightercolor green and tasted good, either using more cream or cooking the spinach for a shorter time to let the flavor shine through.Masala chai has sweet/unsweet options & tastes just as good as some coffee shop’s, the creaminess & sweetness helpingcut/complement the strong spiced tea flavor for 1st time masala chai drinkers. (-) Only caveats are some dishes. All of thesauces/entrees have good seasonings. Unlike any other Indian buffets,’ the gulab jamun here tasted like it wasn’t freshlymade (inside color was darker compared to the light yellow-white color other places’ has, had less of the desiredcreamy/cheesy flavor, and was overly saturated with the sweet syrup) which was a shame. Overall, I’d come back to this placeto try the new buffet dishes other reviews suggest. If you don’t feel like sitting down for the tea & service, you can stillstop by & pick out food from the weekday buffet to fill a small lunchbox for 15$. Great for tasting a wider variety of Indiandishes with a smaller but quality staff. Read more
