Really wanted to enjoy this place but was a tad disappointed. As someone who is Chinese, I would say this is okay Chinese food... at best. We got the special tasting menu for Mid-Autumn Festival. Although there is great variety of food but all was felt tonot have hit the mark. Out of all the dishes, there was only one main meat based dish. We also got cocktails with Baijiu in it,and lets just say they were not for us at all. The desert course was the best course by far. The cheese cake was phenomenal andthe homemade moon cake was also a treat. Read more

This place has solid, authentic Chinese food. Really enjoyed the quality and taste and for that I’m giving it five stars. I... will say it’s a bit on the pricey side and the ambiance does not match the price point. However, the food was that good andservice was friendly and fast so I’ll keep it five stars. Will try again to test for consistency. Read more

Fun place with delicious food and a homey vibe and really nice staff. We previously had dim sum lunch but when we came back it... was no longer available but opted for the tasting menu, which turned out to be a better deal when it came with a couple of dimsum items along with loads of other larger plate format. It's nice not have to pick the dishes and leave it to the restaurantsometimes and try something new. Char siu, Sichuan spicy catfish, and cold spinach salad were standouts. The only place forPeking duck for Baltimore is also available for an additional price. About 10 small to medium dishes or so with dessert. Weleft full and happy. Read more

We had the chef's tasting menu and most of the dishes we had were very good. The highlights for me were the smoked fish, the... char siu bao and quite surprisingly the fudge dessert. Service was also excellent. I would've given it 5 stars had it not beenfor the disappointing Peking duck. The skin had no crispiness whatsoever, the meat was very dry and the buns that were servedwith it were too dense and even had some staleness, making me think they were just reheated rather than steamed fresh. Greatmeal and would love the go back, but I would skip the duck next time. Read more

I spent one night in Baltimore, Maryland and I decided to go to Nihao, which has received important recognitions, including... nominations for the James Beard Awards (the 'Oscars' of the food industry). I was greeted very nicely as soon as I stepped intothe restaurant and my waitress was very attentive and explained the menu to me. I ordered the chicken crispy noodles and theshrimp and pork fried rice. And they were both delicious. You could tell in a second all ingredients used were fresh. Thegrilled vegetables had the ideal consistency and the chicken was tender, juicy and full of flavor. The shrimp were also great, and the accompanying pork and the rice really worked well together. The last time I had such amazing Asian food was in my lasttrip to Peru. Read more
