The quesadilla was very small. The chicken burrito was very delicious and okay sized. The guacamole was bland but it did taste... fresh! The Jamaican drink tasted good. Parking for takeout is a HASSLE.. It is relatively downtown after all. Overpriced. Read more
This is a takeout only spot that is way too expensive for what it is. I got a burrito and there was hardly any meat, no sauce... or sour cream, pretty much just rice and beans with a hint of cheese. A small step above Taco Bell at best. The fries were verysoggy and came in a tiny portion. The sauces were good. I enjoy spicy food and the orange hot sauce was too spicy forme. I've been ordering from Rubens for the past 3 years or so, and have watched the gradual decline in both quality and price. What... was originally maybe $10 for a burrito that was really great, well constructed, and full of flavor is now $16-20 (if you orderonline) for a burrito that's smaller, messier, and missing half of the original content. I understand that delivery will comewith a surcharge, but the doubling of price while skimping on ingredients and quality is a terrible let down. Absolutely new favorite spot! I got the cali burrito, mango aqua fresca, and a churro. Everything was so good!! The burrito was... perfectly cooked and the flavors all worked so well together. The mango aqua Fresca was maybe a little too sweet but stillrefreshing. The churro was so delicious, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would have included a photo but I ateit so fast.
