Sugar Mama's satisfied my breakfast platter cravings and imagination. The food and service definitely lives up to... recommendations I received. The restaurant opened on time. Mind you, vehicles were pulling up before 9:00 AM. When the dooropened a line formed immediately and those inside and outside were rather congenial. Customers were from diverse backgroundsand were smiling. Staff were welcoming and very pleasant. Pretty upbeat and happy atmosphere. The server taking orders offeredfood options, which I was thankful for. I was told my platter would be ready in 25 minutes and as promised it was. Foodportions were very generous. The french toast texture and flavor were just right. Yummy! In fact, every item on my platters(eggs, sausage, home fries, grits) was excellent. I had wondered about the grits, but the texture was absolutely gritsy-soft,not too watery or hard. Loved them! I will definitely revisit. I would surely recommend Sugar Mama's. I applaud them fortheir professionalism in opening on time, greeting customers, providing a variety of food options, and meeting the timeframegiven for preparation of your food. Discovered Sugar Mama's while staying at the hospital up the street and I'm so happy I did. My husband and I ordered the French... Toast platter, and the breakfast sandwich. The French toast was so good we made a second trip a few days later to order it againand try the cheesesteak as well. I will say this, as bomb as the French toast is, it is SWEET, so the meal is more of a once ina blue moon treat for me. My husband thought the Philly cheesesteak and the breakfast sandwich was just ok but we agreed theplatter was a highlight. I removed one star just because the wait time to get our take out was about an hour, when the girl onthe phone told me 25mins. I'll be back to support and try additional items. Read more
After having Sugar Mama?s at least 10-15 times now, I can honestly say that I?ve never had anything short of amazing. Salmon and... Crispy Chicken BLTs are top tier. Chicken wings are seasoned to perfection and the coco bread on all the sandwiches is a must.Go try everything! Read more
Sugar Mama's French Toast is out of this world! Located around the way on Frederick Ave, Sugar Mama's is an intimate breakfast... spot that will make your palate dance. Today I went light with a side of French Toast. The taste was just as great as Iremember. It is the perfect pairing with any other breakfast dish.
