I didn?t have a good experience here and the ice cream was alright. I?ve had better. I got the coffee cookie (1 scoop). I was... told (on a Sunday evening in Sept) that they do not do milkshakes or ice cream cones for no particular reason besides they avoiddoing them during busy times- there was only one person behind us in line I believe though. I was very disappointed andfrustrated it?s an ice cream business why no ice cream cones?? I feel like I settled and was upset but unfortunately theredidn?t seem to be a manager present only two young people working, but I regret not asking for a manager. We got free ice cream during our visit because a wrong order went out and we asked to take it before the trash can could. This... is top notch ice cream, and the Honey Graham is a must-try. It kind of tastes like the aftertaste of eating a graham cracker ?that moment when it?s sort of melting in your mouth. I just wish they had more flavors. Would give 0 stars if possible. Tonight my wife waited for 20 minutes in a line at R House to get Ice Cream, and was in line... before 9pm. She finally got up to the register and the Taharka employee told her that they were closed.... after he'd servedEVERYONE else in line. She didn't even get a chance to say anything before he turned around and walked to the back. As someonewho worked in the service industry for 10+ years I understand the desire to "close down" quickly at the end of the night, butthis is disgraceful service for someone who arrived before closing and patiently waited in line. No ice cream is good enough tomake up for horrible customer service. Read more
Some of the best ice cream I've ever had. The nondairy chocolate is incredible. The roasted strawberry is also loaded with... flavor. They also mastered the creaminess/meltiness which is a big deal in nondairy ice cream! There is hope for the lactoseintolerant people of Maryland! Read more
