I've been waiting 2 years to try this restaurant and I just wasn't impressed at all. I threw out the yams. The vegan ribs was... the only thing I'd try again. The macaroni and cheese shouldn't even be called that and the crab cakes didn't taste fresh atall as if they were left over and they refried them for today. Read more
Wow. I ordered the ribs, live kale and Mac & cheese which I think was a perfect combination. The ribs are perfect consistency... soy shreds with a well balanced sweet/tangy BBQ sauce that?s flavourful without being overpowering. The mac & cheese is possiblythe best vegan Mac & cheese I?ve had although (or because?) it?s not like ?traditional mac & cheese?, it?s earthier with a deepblack pepper & maybe nutmeg/truffle taste. The live kale is a great fresh balance to the other two heavier things I ordered &has a delicious gentle garlicky taste combined with another perfect consistency - crunchy but also fresh and easy to chew,similar to kelp in a poke bowl. I've been coming here off and on for a while when I'm in the area. This restaurant is by far the best vegan restaurant in... Baltimore! The food is always good, the drinks are filling and unique (I recommend the spiced ginger; it's spicy in a fillingway), and the Mac n Cheese hits the spot in a way that other places often fall short. The only gripe I have on the place arethe desserts. Once you have the cakes, it's hard to go back to other spots! Read more
I had a great experience. I loved the food and art work! I got a 3 veggie plate - sweet potatoes, Mac n cheese, and greens... (pretty salty). My husband got a chick pea burger and he enjoyed it. The ginger drink is very delicious! I loved how spicy itwas. Read more

It took us almost 11 years to find this awesome place in Baltimore. We've been doing whole food / vegan diet this year but... sometimes we'd have a treat. And this place was an absolute treat.
