Great place for comfort food. We sat in the John Wayne room. The business has been in business for 100 years. We had the... omelette and catfish. Both were delicious. The staff were friendly. Read more
Our meals were mediocre. The food was warm, not hot. Gravy was bland, The server was friendly and hustled from table to table... taking care of customers. However, she did not check on us after we received our meals. One of the orders was incorrect, but wejust let it go since getting help would take too long. We eventually finished and had to stand up to walk out to get theserver's attention for the ticket. The total ticket was more than we expected for two people. If you bring children with you, beadvised that the men's room walls have framed pictures of scantily clad women and the women's room have pictures on the walls ofshirtless men. Also the stall doors are short, making it easy for a stranger to peer in at you while you answer nature's call. Read more
We had lunch there. My daughter took chicken stripes which was okay. My fried shrimp was not amazing but the french fries are... good. Husband took the Supreme burritos, he said it's good. I know this is a historical restaurant, the 2nd oldest in Texas, butfor me nothing was extraordinary. The cowgirl's toilet was quite dirty and the only friendly person was our server. Read more
Great local eatery. Fast service and everyone was really nice. Sat at the John Wayne area with really awesome memorabilia. Food... was really good and the pancake was great. Would totally recommend and hope I can come back soon. Read more
