10/10/22 nothing about this review is accurate any longer, thanks for remaining the best place around (by far) ???? Wow that... felt like a completely different place. The friendly old school pizza joint vibe that I grew up knowing was completely absent.I?m one of those people that doesn?t ever do this because generally I don?t care enough but if I do leave a review thensomething went very wrong. First I called and was put on hold for 10 minutes with no return so I decided to try again in a bit.I totally understand stuff happens (if that was the truly the case and not just indifference, after my visit I?m not so sure),so no problem I called back and got my order through. Not even the slightest smile nor word of welcoming was murmured by thecashier, no hello or goodbye or have a good night or anything similar. Nothing. I think that wearing a beanie and playing crassrap music loud enough for me to hear in the front was unprofessional also. I?m not a middle aged ?Karen? as they call it lookingfor anything to complain about, I?m 23 and if even I noticed it then I think that speaks volumes. I felt like it was a placeback in Boston or New York where you can get away with more of a cavalier demeanor. But this is Bangor, and I worry that a lotof our fears of our favorite pizza place changing due to new ownership is coming true. The pizza was excellent as always butthat?s not enough for me to overlook a potential increasingly unwelcoming atmosphere. Perhaps this was a fluke, I hope sobecause I intend on continuing to patronize you guys. Please don?t mess with a proven formula for success :( Read more

This is by far the best pizza I've had in my entire life - I've been getting their pizza for 40 years. As someone else noted, I... often start eating it in the parking lot it's so good. Read more

FINALLY we found a very good pizza in Maine! The toppings are fresh, good quality, and plentiful. The SAUCE is fabulous! The... BEST! The crust is perfectly cooked, even through the center! Thank goodness, no soggy center here! Also, not too thin orthick. Honestly, I've had better flavored crust in Italy & in California (the elevation here may be a contributor)nonetheless, this Classic crust is far better than anything I've had in Maine thus far. When you bite into this fabulous pizza, flavors burst! We will be back! Read more
