Worth the ride (unless you are lucky enough to live close by). Single scoops are so large you can choose two different flavors.... $6 or so for a cone which feels very fair these days. I went with old school butter pecan and it was great?nuts were stillcrunchy, not soggy. The girls couldn?t finish their (single scoop) cones so I can attest that the vanilla ice cream ticks allthe right boxes, too. We went mid-day on a Tuesday so no issue with the lines I?ve heard about on weekend evenings. Read more

The service has gone down hill in the past few months. But we went to get my favorite Ice cream, couldn't get in because the... First Lady was coming in?! Then read a post from Arethusa about "what an honor it was" to have the First Lady stop by. Afterreading the praise for the wife of the man destroying our Country, along with the continued poor service ...... I won't beback. My suggestion would be to talk with the staff about customer service, stay out of politics, and just serve ice cream. Read more
This place was neat, staff was impressive and the ice cream. Ya, a whole new level of good! I found this place by Google, top... places in CT for ice cream and this was 1 of a few. So we took the drive up to Bantam, beautiful drive btw. Got here and theline was almost out the door. Many folk here enjoying HUGE servings of delicious ice cream. We got the chocolate which wassolid. The sweat cream with chocolate chips, yup good. And the fan favorite was their peach ice cream. OMG, yes that one. Wow.Seriously, that one should be registered for competition. So good, we had to take a couple pints home. We will be back! Plus,did I say the staff rocked! Read more

One of the best ice cream we've had on the East Coast! Their scoops are gigantic! Great dairy that we take back home every time... we go there. The only minus goes for double charging us for one of the items on our credit card on our last visit. We've noticedit back home. Will mention it next time we're there. But all in all 5 stars.
