When we visited Acadia - I researched all of the lobster pound places, and this one was at the top of my list. It did not... disappoint - I went here twice - once for the naked lobster roll, and once for the lobster roll with mayo. Both were excellent- but the simplicity and freshness of the naked lobster with butter and a squeeze of lemon was one of my favorites of the trip. Also make sure you get the potato salad - it has fresh dill and is the best side I had of all of the lobster pounds. Very nice atmosphere, lots of shaded seating options. Staff is very friendly and welcoming; service is excellent. All foods were... delicious, we went back for seconds on the chowder. We happened across this place by chance and found it to be fantastic. Food was delicious, service was excellent and the place... was clean and well kept. Let's be honest, seafood places around here are about as numerous a pizza joints in Chicago or BBQ inAustin, and though there are a ton of places to get seafood in the area, this place did stand out after spending roughly 4 daysin the area and sampling other places to eat.
