What a great find. A waiter we had for dinner the night before recommended the Looking Glass for breakfast and it did not... disappoint. Friendly you wait staff, good food and an absolutely stunning view of the harbor! (Not to mention avoiding thecrowds of downtown Bar Harbor) Could not have found a better spot. Read more
It's a great spot if you want to start your day with a view. This is a breakfast restaurant inside Wonder Inn Hotel in Bar... Harbor. Outdoor seating could be troublesome because the umbrellas are not doing much in the mornings since they are not tilted.I enjoyed my breakfast bowl with corned beef, carrots, cabbage, homefries and eggs. Had the potato skillet with tofu: vegan-friendly! Finally a dish in Bar Harbor that is big enough to fill me up! There were a... lot of potatoes and veggies. It wasn't the most spectacular dish - I wish the potatoes and veggies were more flavorful - butthat's what salt, pepper, and hot sauce are for! We had a delicious breakfast here in early September and the view was gorgeous. Servers were attentive and even with food being... a bit slow to arrive from the kitchen it was worth the wait. Try the breakfast tacos if you have a big appetite. They werefabulous. Read more
