This place has so many great reviews solely because it?s the only hibachi place in the small American town that is Bardstown,... Kentucky. This place is okay but it?s not comparable to places like Sake Blue, Kansai or Junos. The first time I ever orderfrom this place, my salad was rotten, so that?s awkward. I decided to give it another chance and order a chicken/shrimp combodinner and a sushi roll. Nothing rotten thankfully but I find that the sushi seriously lacks flavor. The chicken is a bitgristly and the shrimp is weirdly not shaped like shrimp, which throws me off. The rice was great though. Anyway, the staff isincredibly kind and the place is always clean. I can understand why it does so well in the area but coming from someone who hastried so many different hibachi + sushi places I think a lot of people will find the flavor missing. Read more

I hate to say this, but this restaurant just isn't good. I've tried probably about 10 or 12 of their sushi rolls, and they're... just kind of terrible. There's way too much rice and barely any of the actual ingredients. It's basically just eating rice withsauce. They don't have any of that shredded crab stuff either, for some reason. I wouldn't order anything with avocado becausethey use avocados that aren't anywhere near ripe, which ruins the whole thing. To be fair, it is hard to find an avocado aroundhere that isn't somehow already rotten inside. Also, last time my coke was completely flat, and the waitress didn't even bringme chopsticks. The ramen is terrible, and the Korean pancake and the bulgogi are both disappointing. Maybe all of this works forpeople who have never had decent or good Asian food. I will say their hibachi stuff has been okay (it's been a while though),and the rice they serve with it is excellent. I wish I knew what they put in it! Sadly, this is a restaurant only for thedesperate. You're far better off going anywhere in Louisville, or maybe even to the nearby Kroger. If you must come here I wouldorder the chicken teriyaki. I have never given a bad review before, but my husband and I got takeout from here and they gave us rotten salad. I called them... and they said since they came with the meals they wouldn?t give us a refund, even though we paid 17 dollars for three meals.they were not helpful on the phone at all! It makes me wonder about the quality of the other meals they are giving people. Idefinitely wouldn?t eat here again, I hope they can be better in the future, especially with costumer service Read more

First off when it?s 90+ degrees outside maybe have the temperature inside of the restaurant a comfortable temperature rather... than hot enough where people are still sweating while sitting there for over a half hour also maybe assign one server for tableinstead of having every server in the restaurant serve three tables at once.. the confusion and animosity was unreal betweengetting the wrong orders or not even getting what you order or waiting extremely long times to get a server to come to yourneeds also while at a sushi restaurant or Asian themed restaurant it?s kind of weird to hear Latino music coming from thekitchen I had to look around a few times and make sure that I was not in the local Mexican restaurant lol not sure if my wifehad a reaction to something that she ate or if maybe something was bad who?s to say then when the server decides to take her owntip out of the cash given to pay the bill and only bring back six pennies that?s a little crazy also I thought that thecustomer is who gives the tip not the server just takes what they want we definitely will not be back Read more
