Food was okay, definitely overpriced. Got the brisket, it was a little dry. Good flavor. My wife got the half chicken and... shrimp. Chicken was also a little dry. I\'m not a cheap guy, but I think I thought it was a bit overpriced. Service was good, very friendly staff. Atmosphere was great, I grew up in town and can\'t believe what they have done with the place. Read more

My wife Lisa and I recently had the great opportunity to dine at The Barre Patch. We each chose an entre from the menu (I chose... the Beer Battered Fish and my wife chose the 8 oz. NY Steak). Both were fantastic! The owner came over twice to thank us forcoming and asked how everything was. This was a very nice personal touch that both my wife and I had not experienced in many, many years. The service was very good. We will definitely be going back, bringing others and talking it up amongst friends andfamily! Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience! Read more

Everything was phenomenal! Started with spinach and artichoke dip in a fresh-baked sourdough bread bowl. This was so good I even... ate all the bread. I had the brisket and shrimp with sweet potato fries. Their homemade BBQ sauce and rubs are delicious, aswell as jalapeño cheese sauce for dipping. Dessert was a fresh made waffle with maple syrup and apple ice cream. Again, supertasty. This place will be a regular stop and I\'ve been telling everyone about it. Read more

Very unfortunate but we had a horrible experience tonight. When the bill came we found out my wife\'s drinks were $24 each for a... whiskey lemonade. It didn\'t mention a price on the menu and definitely wasn\'t thinking it would be insanely expensive. When Imentioned it to the owner all she said was she \"assumed\" we wanted top shelf. They proceeded to give us $5 off the 2 drinksbut we still wouldn\'t have paid $19 per drink. It doubled our bill. Needless to say they lost a lot of future business becauseit definitely could have been handled better. Moral to the story be careful when ordering the specialty drinks so you don\'tget surprised. So furious\n( fast forward 2 days later and seeing their response to my review is appalling ) I didn\'t seeanywhere where I could respond so in editing this original post having the actual business call us liars is even morefrustrating. Worse part of this dinner was the female owner was our waitress. Everyone that knows my wife and I know we don\'tgo out spending $24 per drink additionally we always go out to help local businesses. I was dining in, and somehow my food got handed to me as takeout. Which I don\'t even know how that happened considering I was... seated, ordered off the menu and was served my drink. They did take it back to the kitchen and plate it, but when they broughtit back it was just so not worth it. I got the Italian burger with grilled chicken and onion rings. My onion rings were so cold, and my sandwich could\'ve been way better. The menu says mozzarella wedges, which I didn\'t realize were fried. Since thesandwich I ordered was the grilled version. A man came out from the kitchen and asked me how it was, and I asked if I couldcomment, and I suggested they use fresh mozzarella instead, I think it would\'ve been a lot better. He explained that theycouldn\'t do it because most of it would have to be thrown out, but he explained it in a kind of rude way, wrote off mysuggestion, and then pretty much walked away. Then at the end, the waitress was on the phone and when she came to collect ourplates, she had the phone tucked in between her ear and shoulder. The prices were decent, but to me even then it really wasn\'tworth it. My boyfriend\'s food was okay, the brisket was good he said, but the potato was super overcooked. That\'s gonna be ano from me, dawg. Read more
