I met my friend here at this restaurant. She is a regular there and loves this place. The ambiance is very authentic, it truly... feels like you're in Mexico. The staff is very friendly, it feels like your home. The place is very clean and lively. The foodtasted like home made Mexican food. Great value for what you get. The best Mexican food I've had. Super authentic food! Was quite surprised when I heard of an all-you-can-eat Mexican place but it absolutely blew our... expectations out of the water. I forgot to take pictures of many of the items we ordered, but their tacos and quesadillas areincredible! I think what makes this place so good is that unlike other all-you-can-eat places, everything here is made fresh andstill hot from the oven as it gets to your plate. I traveled an hour north from Toronto to understand why this place is highly rated. The two of us opted for AYCE ($33.99) in an... effort to try everything on the menu. Tacos: truly authentic and strictly Mexican tacos. This is not Tex Mex or fusion. Tacoscame out hot and the meat:tortilla ratio is at least 2:1. Simple ingredients let's you taste the taco for what it is. Some tacoscan be dry because they serve salsa in a bottle on the side. I tried all 13 tacos, all ranged from good to excellent. Myfavorite was Camaron, Carne Asada, Campechano. Carnitas were ok but needed more contrasting texture and flavor (soft on soft) -this would go really well on a tostadas. Enchiladas & Quesadillas: very comforting with a good combination of sauce and meltycheese. Tasted very home style. Quesadilla was nice and crisp and not greasy. Nachos: very good. Homemade and not the storebought kind. Fried tortilla always yields crunch and flavor. Before you order, opt for the nachos on the menu because it comeswith chorizo, pico and toppings. Service: excellent. Extremely friendly, humble and welcoming. Waitress always has a smile onher face. Owner came by to take feedback which shows he cares about his customers. Decor: clean and spacious with Mexican artscattered around. Could use more charm and intimacy. Space feels too open. I typically refrain from 5/5, but the overallcombination of taste, value, friendly staff makes this place perfect. I'm very hard to please but Cocina Mexicana has passed byall standards. Read more

This is one of those out of the way gems, that we stumbled on. The place is quite small, quaint, and the seating is more of a... 'diner' style. Food was Great- with two options: 'AYCE' or 'A la Carte'. We chose AYCE this time and as a result were able totry almost everything on that menu between the 3 of us. The staff were extremely friendly and personable. We Will be back - andnext time order 'A la Carte' as there were more items to choose from that we would like to try. Read more
