Menu for Inn Steakhouse in Barrie, ON

I mean... The 10 Rib Steak was cooked well and the fries were nice and thick and had a good crisp going on, it tastes great. The... issue I have is that this cost me $38 for a 10oz steak(flat and thin) and a 50 cent potato ?? The presentation was . Umm...Lazy? I don't know what else to call it. It was very simple, the steak laying on top of the fries. It just wasnt presented how a$38 dinner should be presented. Toss some vegg in there for the fellas. Way too expensive for what it is, the wine was 3 times the price from LCBO !! The plates were almost empty. Last time there...

The restaurant and food is great, but pricey. Staff is friendly and professional. The reason for 4 stars is that guests of the... Inn cannot get a table there without reservation most of the time. There is no sign anywhere that guests of the same hotel needreservation in order to get into the restaurant. In happens mostly when there is a wedding, so it might be when the place isbusy. There are only two restaurants at Horseshoe, so be warned, if you are planning to visit. Read more

My family went to this restaurant expecting a "fine dining" as we were staying with the Horseshoe Resort. The service before we... even had the chance of sitting down was a condescending experience. When we said "hello" and asked "could you sit four of us?",the front, without even greeting us, asked "do u have a reservation?" I said "no" and asked "do we need a reservation?" Shescoffed briefly and looked at the clock and said it might be available in one hour. We saw several tables open from our walktoward the restaurant. So we just walked away. Tried breakfast buffet, inspite of this, but the menu and food was nothingspecial but overpriced. Will not recommend to anyone or comeback to this. Read more
