We had an amazing lunch here. Growing up in Colorado I'd never been to Basalt. Let's say I'll be back.
I ordered the French toast made with the home made baguette. I received a hamburger bun cut in half. I have no problem ordering... something else if a restaurant rums out of something but to serve me a hamburger bun dipped in egg was just ridiculous. Servicewas also terrible, my girlfriend had to get up and ask for another mimosa after our server took the order and brought drinks tothe table next to us and never looked over. We were both servers and were trying to not be rude but there was 0 service beingprovided. Read more

Still one of the best places to eat in Basalt. Yummy French food like the trout, the mussels with fries. Great salads like the... endive salad and the beet salad. Not to forget the basil cesar salad! Our son loves the macaroni and peas which is a treat forhim. This is a mom and pop restaurant and they put their love into the food and service. We really love this place. While Imentioned a few dishes , everything is great in the menu. Save room for dessert like the chocolate fondu, our kids favourite.Many other great desserts too. Read more

The desert was good. Mainly just gelato but it was okay gelato. The service was great. But the atmosphere was terrible. The... dining room is small and there were two loud groups in the restaurant so I couldn't talk to my wife without leaning over thetable. It's not the restaurant's fault.
