Upon leaving the Hilton across the street I was in the mood for a bagel and coffee. I saw this bagel store and when leaving the... hotel and was pleasantly surprised to see my thoughts were answered. I am an egg bagel kind of guy and was happy to see theyoffered them. In fact one of the workers just put out a new batch of egg bagels as I approached next in line which made me evenmore excited. Bagels in NJ are just different from what you would find in NYC. Especially when it comes to egg bagels. In NJegg bagels are much more darker yellow in color and have sort of a hard crisp when you bite into them. They also feel like youknow they will be hard as a rock by the next day if you do not eat them the same day you buy them. Overall, the egg bagelitself was pretty tasty for a bagel in NJ. Could have been because i got one from the fresh batch they just put out. The reasonfor the three star rating was the service you get here. Everyone just seemed like they did not want to be there. Everyone lookedmean and miserable. One of the workers kept looking at me like he wanted to fight me or something. Really, really weird. Theyalso moved so slow that there was 1 person in front of me when I got there and by the time it was my turn to order the line wasout the door. No sense of urgency to keep the line moving at all. It felt more like we were on their time to get the food theysell which I did not understand since there was nothing that much special about this place expect for the fact of the location,so maybe they felt some sort of entitlement, I dunno. I paid for my coffee and buttered bagel (from a guy at the register whowas a little nicer and seemed like the owner) and was on my way. I think if they can work on the customer service aspect oftheir business with the workers they hire it could be that much better. Read more

Ok bagels, Bad service. Been there on several occasions and the service has always been poor, bagels are Okay, by far there are... MUCH better options a short drive away. Today their toaster was not working, so no toasted bagels available. I asked if theycan place the bagel on the grill and flat out said NO (with an attitude). I walked away, never to return. I love supportinglocal small businesses, but I guess sometimes they forget who keeps them in business. Read more

I think it was very overpriced for what it was. I got an everything bagel simply with lox cream cheese and was charged for... $13.81. It?s the same price as Lox n Loaded sandwiches on their online menu. With that price, I can get huge sandwiches withbigger bagel and better cream cheese in the city. I wonder they made a mistake when they charged me. Read more

Eat at your own risk! I got sick as a dog from a simple bagel with egg salad. This entire company is a complete and total joke,... and the cheap owner has a bunch of rude employees working at every location. The bagels are not even anything special... Decentquality at best. The prices are absurd and way too expensive! The staff, specifically the thin manager (who is always at thecash register) at the location in Riverwalk, is rude, obnoxious, stressed out, overworked/underpaid, unfriendly, and he doesn'teven say "thank you" or "have a nice day." The lines and wait times are absolutely insane! I will never go back, not even for abagel with butter. Not the least bit recommended to anyone! Look elsewhere... Read more

I've been here a few times. The food is pretty good. They have nice bagels. Food prep is pretty fast-around 5 minutes. The... customer service of the man doing checkout leaves a lot to be desired. He barks at people in a rush like he has a line out thedoor, but there were only 2 other customers there. Read more
