Always a great choice for family night or date night. The menu expands beyond traditional choices but each element of every... plate seems to be prepared with care. The helpful, personable and attentive staff are open to changes and substitutions toensure everyone gets exactly what they want. While the signature dishes such as the pollo con mole and shrimp relleno stand out,they never stand alone, the beans are always just right, the rice is always perfect, the vegetables always fresh. We often pass through Bastrop on our way to other places. One trip I asked someone who lives there to suggest a Tex-Mex... restaurant and this place was highly recommended.
