Zero stars. I reached out to the owner to book a section in advance for myself & a group of friends. Was given pricing &... availability & then promptly paid to reserve. Just to get a notification THE DAY OF that I?ve been refunded with no explanation.I had to reach out & ask why. I?m then told by the owner, ?The promoter for this night had already booked the section prior tome paying & he just realized?. Mind you I reached out Monday & paid Tuesday for Saturday night. These promoters, from what I seeon public social media, started promoting this particular night on Monday when I inquired booking a section. According to theseating chart online. There?s about 12 ?sections?. So ?apparently? they booked ALL the sections prior to me paying at the startof the week. I guess our money was ?less relevant? & easier to cancel since it would?ve been our first time attending. Justlooks like they chose to cancel us to accommodate others. This caused us wasted time & money. Will not attempt to go again orrecommend to anyone I know. Bad for business. Read more
Not Satisfied!! I was Assaulted at this establishment back in January. There was no security there on staff. No one reached out... to me to even apologize or even check on me to see how I was.They don't care about the visitors here, nor the customers. Theywill act like you don't even exist if anything ever happens to you and you are hurt. I have returned to the place to completelybe disregard by the co-owner of the place. Mr. David which was completely not expected, I thought he would have done otherwise.With it being that it was my first time visiting there, and I had to be taken out by an ambulance. Once i regained consciousnessat the hospital I was informed what happened to me. Would not recommend on a professional level..unless you just want to findsomething to do and don't care about the level of class and professionalism here. The man Mr. David, didn't even come and see meto ask how I was doing after I returned to Dead Poet after the incident that took place! With me standing right outside the doorand he was sitting at the bar, where you could see him clearly through the doorway. He had someone else talk to me for him. I had my birthday party here. The Venue looks AMAZING it was very clean and vibrant. The staff was very professional, friendly... and very attentive to my guest and I. The music was great as well. The environment is friendly, classy and fun. Read more
Unlike the host of crybabies on here who are mad that they can?t wear their t-shirts and boat shoes. I actually enjoy a place... with some class behind it. I like a more upscale atmosphere which Baton Rouge nightlife is sorely lacking. It?s a great place togo with my friends, DRESS UP, and have a good time. Read more

So I?ve been here 3 times and I will say this there was never a regret anytime I went. As a flight attendant I?ve traveled the... world and partied at some of the BEST clubs around it. To see my one city get a premiere night club experience just warms myheart. It gives me a place to bring my big city friends when they?re in town while still delivering that magical south Louisianasense of hospitality.
