I had the chicken rice bowl. Subtle flavors. Warm and healthy. Usually, Japanese and other asian restaurants in States put too... much artificial sauce into their food and ruin it. This restaurant did not do this mistake. Read more
The drunken fish has very quickly become my absolute favorite place to get pho. The broth is so flavorful and rich, and tastes... really fresh. The noodles taste fresh, and are not stuck together in one hard clump that breaks when you go to eat it like manyother places I?ve had in Louisiana. Their chili oil also tastes very fresh. It?s absolutely delicious. I attached a photo of themeatball pho, which I know is an acquired taste. Most would probably prefer a different beef cut, but I really love themeatballs here they?re tender and delicious. I have tried many of their appetizers too and have really enjoyed all but one ofthem (sorry, but your calamari is mush and I do not recommend it?s the one draw back I?ve found here) but the egg rolls areactually some of the best I?ve ever had. When I first saw them I thought to myself they?re tiny but when I bit in to them, theywere actually the most densely packed egg rolls I?ve ever had, very meaty, and the size of them is perfect as they are veryfilling. Overall, between here and the west coast, this place has the best pho I?ve ever had in my life and is an absolute gem.I would give their pho 10 stars if I could!
