I have ordered from here several times and liked the place. But recently I have had some dietary changes and cannot eat rice. I... ordered for pickup gumbo with no rice and when I get it has rice. I wouldn't be upset if this wasn't the first time this hashappened. I ordered ettoufee on another time and specified no rice but when I received order it had rice in it. Mistakeshappen so a few weeks later I try again and again the same thing happens. I almost ate it as I took the top off and was about toeat it until I looked and seen rice. If I would have eaten it it would have gotten stuff in my throat and cut off my air so thiscould have been serious for me. I'm very upset and will not be patronizing this place of business AGAIN! Why offer the option tonot get rice if you will not honor my request. I would give zero stars if I could because now I have nothing to eat and it istoo far to go back especially when I am still at work. In the future, make sure your employees take the time to fix the orderscorrectly as the next person may not observe the way I did. Read more

I?ll start with the positive. The portions are good, the variety is great, and the prices are competitive. It was very easy to... order online and their website is super detailed. Now for the negatives. The food was under-seasoned and barely appetizingwithout adding my own seasonings. Compared to my usual go-to (Jambalaya Shoppe) this place can barely call itself authentic ?Cajun? or ?Creole? cooking. I?ve made better food using prepared box mix and canned vegetables. If you have food sensitivitiesthen this place is a good choice, due to light seasoning/flavor. Overall I won?t be a repeat customer, nor would I feelcomfortable recommending this place to anyone. The service was good though so that is a positive. Excellent service - everyone I encountered was lovely. Sadly the food was objectively bad. The jambalaya had lots of chicken and... sausage but absolutely no flavor. I?m not saying this as an exaggeration - I was sort of puzzled as to how it was even possible,but it tasted like?nothing. The white beans were fine but were cold.
