Even though the food is fresh and perfectly cooked, it is under seasoned for my taste (and I don't use a lot of seasoning in my... food to begin with). But, I suppose that may be to accommodate those that need to reduce their salt intake, so I won't faultthem for undersalting. There's salt on the tables if you don't mind adding it to your food. The portion sizes are decent for theprice. The inside has dim lighting, if you're a fan of that, and there is seating outside if you'd like to dine there instead.Wait time to recieve food was decent. I'm actually blown away. My burger is delicious and the cheesy spaghetti is great. Everyone was so nice and welcoming there. ... They even cooked my burger just how I wanted it, despiting it being quite thick. Definitely going there again. I bet the piesare great too. Read more
If you?re looking for a place where everyone is welcome then Blue Rose cafe is your spot! I found this place on Yelp and decided... to check it out. It?s off the beaten path in an industrial area so most wouldn?t know it exists. When we arrived the place wasempty but it soon got busier towards lunch time. We were greeted as if we were regular customers. Our server explained that theywere still serving breakfast and promptly too our drink orders. Everything on the menu sounded good so I decided to try the Eggcombo and my son ordered the Pancake combo. While waiting for our food I struck up a conversation with our server and anotherlady that was there. I explained that I was in town visiting and hadn?t been back home in 5 years. They were both so welcomingand made us feel right at home. Breakfast arrived hot and delicious. Y?all! Don?t skip the biscuits! They are homemade, hugeand delicious! The pancakes were good too! Heck everything was great! Even the sweet tea was delicious. I wish that we were intown longer because their lunch specials looked amazing! I really wanted to try their Pasta Fagouli casserole but I didn?t havethe room. Their specials change daily so I would suggest check Facebook to see what they have. Cute, small place. Very mom and pop. Because of that, though, the service can be a bit slow. Good food, though!
