The food was very good. Service was good and everybody was nice. The salmon salad was very filling and delicious. The mozzarella... logs were huge and very cheesy. I had nice balcony seats and could see the view late at night. The waitress was very cool andfunny. Read more

The service and atmosphere are great. I'd give it another try, but the food was just okay. The salad was completely plain - a... little lettuce with one croutons and two bites of tomato drowned in dressing, which is saying a lot for me to call it "drowned."Anything fried was super greasy and tasted heavy. The catfish was well seasoned and a nice flaky texture that fell apart, butmaybe a little too much falling apart. The roast beef poboy would do better to have the gravy on the side. The taste was decent,but just from the time it took to go from the kitchen to the table, it was already soggy from being so drowned it gravy.Normally, I'd be all-in on that, but it didn't click just right. ?ve been here many times, it?s great! Really nice atmosphere out on the upstairs outdoor patio. They have heaters and TVs.... There is a bar and standing area. I?ve also sat inside which is nice. The noise level is nice, it?s not too loud but not quieteither. It?s a nice vibe and the wait staff are on top of their jobs. We always get the cheese sticks, which are really good!They?re the biggest cheese sticks I?ve ever seen. The cheese sticks are so big one per person is enough. The red beans and riceare really good too! We?ve gotten that several times. Their sandwiches are also good. Pretty much everything on the menu isgreat and you can?t pick a bad thing. Great Place to try when in Baton Rouge! The atmosphere is a little dark...but has a great feel. Our server was friendly and... knowledgeable of the menu. He was able to give recommendations. The crab stuffed mushrooms had amazing flavor. I would recommendthe crawfish.... fresh and filling. Read more
