Just had dinner at Portside and it was truly awesome. The queen prime rib was perfection and the serving size was overly... generous. Scallops were super tender and grilled to perfection. Katie our server was attentive and never missed a beat. Highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
We arrived on time for our reservation and were told it'd be a 20 minute wait. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks, the... bartender was cool. After getting seated at our table, we ordered a calamari appetizer, which came out over a half hour after weordered it. We'd ordered our entrees when the server came back and after patiently waiting another half hour, we inquired aboutour dinners' progress. It hadn't been started yet so we opted to cancel our order, and could tell the server was embarrassed,though it wasn't her fault. She included a free dessert before we left, which was a kind gesture. Had a window table that we had before. Wife chose the Walleye and I went for Queen size Prime rib. Delicious..brought home half... of prime and half our large baked potatoes. The mixed vegetables dish was excellent. Only had a 19 min wait when we went. Read more

This is a wonderful hidden gem of a place. The food is very good and the service is top notch! The view, alone, makes it worth a... trip even for just drinks and appetizers (onion rings!) but try their excellent prime rib special, fish fry or prime rib on aburger. It can get crowed so maybe call ahead. Read more
