The people were so nice! Unfortunately, they ran out of Mac n cheese but she replaced our order and even gave us cheesecake... (which was sooo good) . Everything is good especially that mild sauce. Will be back for the Mac n cheese! Read more

So I just made an order from Grubhub. First half of my order was missing. The part of my order that I did was receive was the... Beef rib platter, smoked wings, and peach cobbler. The rib was on the dry side, the Mac and cheese was mostly noodles and verydry. The potatoes in the potato salad were over cooked. The taste was bland and it was warm. The wings were pretty good and thepeach cobbler was very tasty. I doubt I will finish the rib platter. I am very disappointed by the food. I was looking forwardto trying this food bc of all the great reviews it had online. This will probably be the last time I make an order from hereespecially seeing as though the food is very pricey. I went to BIG John's on Saturday 6/18/22 and got the wings. It was my first time so I decided to start off small. When I say, I... got home and ate about 5wings, I was smilin. I was elated to find a bbq/soul food place in Bear. But I was beyond elated when I tasted Uncle John?s amazing food!!! I mean... everything was on point! My family and I wanted to taste a little of everything so we purchased about 3 different platters withdifferent sides? didn?t get to taste the collard greens this time around (but gives us more of a reason to go back)!!! UncleJohn is so personable, and really feels like family just from our first interaction. That?s how amazing his personality is andplease know the food he is cooking matches!!!
