We had brunch for 4 and found the service to be poor and the staff were not very accessible or helpful. It took at least to 30... minutes just to get our drinks. My salad with scallops was good . But we had to ask for water, forks and they absolutelywouldn't substitute vanilla ice cream in place of another flavor with dessert. Their attitudes were dismissive and we were toldto leave because they wanted to close. Just felt very pretentious and not a satisfactory experience. Read more

The restaurant is beautiful! The bald bartender is magnificent, the ambiance, however, needed work. The multi colored hair... woman who presented to guests as “the owner Roxanne” appeared to have some screws loose and appeared to be heavilyintoxicated during her shift. She is extremely rude and dismissive. As I attempted to enjoy my meal I couldn’t help but overhear the yelling that came across the other side of the room. It was “the owner” yelling and her employees. The tonepresented as condescending and we could the feel the frustration through the employees eyes. It’s such a pity to see. The Foodwas great though so there’s that.. I hope to see improvements in this restaurant for the sake of the staff and returningguests but I doubt I’ll be one of them. Read more

Dinned at The Barn today for brunch. It was adequate and should have been better. Setting aside the mediocre food, the... lackluster service (e.g., our appetizer dish had not been cleared when our entrees were served), that 30 minutes after beingseated the hostess called to see if we were going to make our reservation (the one we checked in with), the one thing thatreally stuck with us was the ridiculous menus. When you arrive you must scan a QR code to access the menu. Has no one evertaught the owner that it is rude to be on your phone at the table? Her parents must be so proud of her poor manners and thatshe forces them upon every single guest. What is more surprising is that the menu is really poorly designed for viewing on aphone. Maybe that is more dumb than surprising. When I mentioned finding the menu situation to be ridiculous to the server hesaid something to the effect of every server and nearly every guest feels the same way, it was obvious that hearing this from mewas not new news. What type of business ignores customer feedback? Not one that I’m likely to patronize again and definitelyone that I’ll be quick to talk about in a negative light. Read more

The Barn is a cozy dining experience that has the same amazing food and service as their main dining space. They have changed a... few things since our last visit...one being the kitchen head order executor ....so that's a bit loud and crazy hearing her yellorder's to the kitchen all night....not sure that was a great change to the process. Everything else was outstanding as always Read more

We had an awesome experience at The Barn from start to finish. Arrived around 5:30 for some pre-dinner cocktails (Fernando and... It’s Warm Somewhere)… both delicious and made with serious care by the bartender. Followed by a bottle of Aligote which wasperfect. For appetizers, we had to try a few things… - The Blooming Onion was great… perfectly fried and sweet… combinedwith spinach and artichoke deliciousness on top - Bone Marrow Luge… every bite was awesome… Asian flair with tartar on topof the marrow, and ends with a shot meant to get every bit of deliciousness off the marrow. Fun experience and something youdon’t see on menus much - PEI Mussels… normally we’d never order mussels since we cook them often ourselves but this waslike a bahn mi in a bowl... still thinking about how delicious this was By the time we got to dinner, we were pretty full sosplit the fried chicken. Cooked well and juicy, but the sauce could have had a bit more flavor… I’d try something else nexttime. Dessert we wanted to end on a high note so split the Yuzu Pavlova and didn’t regret it. Awesome mix of flavors and nottoo heavy. Professional and attentive service with proper pouring of drinks, changing of flatwear throughout with everythingmatching what we were eating. Some things that I feel are a bit hard to find outside of the city and didn’t go unoticed. Thesetting was beautiful on the patio, especially on a warm summer night. A fair mix of couples, groups, and families with verywell behaved children. While not a cheap meal by suburban standards, we felt that everything was well priced and worth thecost. Based on our meal last night, would highly recommend…Can’t wait to go back again soon and try different dishes! Read more
