Have driven by Bedford Village Pastry so many times and always meaning to stop one day. Love a good pastry! Well. My lucky day!... Stopped in, was greeted by the young man behind the counter. Asked if he had a small box so I could choose an assortment, hepacked it with delightful pastries, cookies, treats! Wow! Still enjoying them and they are still fresh a few days later. Willdefinitely be a regular here. Loved the pecan cookies and the apple turnover and husband loved the almond croissant. Read more

Update on my first review. Since I wrote, the business has changed hands and while some things are just as good, others are... not. For some time they closed at 4 pm, which was inconvenient. A few weeks ago I bought an apple strudel which had beenmade with rancid butter. When I took it back, they offered me my money back. I asked them to taste it but they said thatthey would not because of COVID. Two weeks later the taste of rancid butter was still an unpleasant memory so I returned andasked for my money back. They told me that they did taste the offending strudel and that I was right ? the butter was rancid. How did that happen? They did not know. I left, with my money but no apology and no explanation. They did not seem to careabout the satisfaction of their customers or the quality of their ingredients. Read more

Everything is beautiful here. It looks so good you dont want to ruin it by biting into it. There are a good variety of options.... I really loved the pear tart. I also like the size of the pastries. I can buy 2 or 3 items without feeling too guilty. Read more
