We just spent 1 night here and I wish we had been able to spend another! Service was great, all the staff was friendly, food was... delicious, and they have a wide variety of choices on the beer menu. Our room (The Juniata) was very very clean and cozy. The inn was on a good location. A few yummy places to eat including the inn, which had a nice bar. Breakfast was yummy too.... The room was just like the picture. Clean and cozy.. Complimentary water, and tea. Misty helped me check in, although she seemedto be busy and rushed off. Even the staff at check out were busy and had me give my key to some guy. We had our Family reunion here and it was wonderful. Very comfortable well air conditioned clean rooms, and a helpful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Golden Eagle. Although we arrived late (we let them know we were delayed), we were... greeted warmly and treated to ice cold water and a yummy popcorn snack! The room was clean and there were many thoughtfultouches from a nightlight to wonderful toiletries. Coffee, tea and water available all day. Breakfasts (included) weresubstantial and delicious. Lunch was great. Would definitely stay again! The town is really neat, too. We enjoyed shopping andthe historic walking tour on Friday afternoon. Read more
