Staff was indifferent to my presence. Food wasn’t fast but I expected that as I ordered my steak medium well. Before anyone... goes ape on me, I’ve noticed a trend of way undercooked meat. So have a look at he picture of my medium well steak before youdecide I’m crazy. It was all tasty but I’m glad I got it to go, so I could finish cooking it. I want to give a huge shout out to the manager Robert! What a great manager to have at this location!! Robert was helping... everyone! I mean everyone… Helping the host seat everyone in a timely manner, checked with all of the wait staff, carried outtrays of food, gave multiple guests drinks among seating them to make sure nobody was waiting, asked if we had any questions orhad been here before, before proceeding to take our order to help out the wait staff and keep us from waiting! Robert reallymade sure everyone was taken care of staff and guests. I really appreciate the way he ran the show here, what a great manager.Noticed he talked to each table and brought them whatever they needed. The wait staff was top notch, every time a server walkedby they made sure to check the area even if it wasn’t their table and cleared off empty dishes! The food was brought out by acheerful food runner and she made sure to get us any extra things we needed with our food. So too was an assistant manager who came out to check on us now and again. +They offer freebread to start with! +The Molasses bread is rather good. A little matting in the center, but not a lot of matting. Definitelyquite good for free bread. +The food made it out to us in fairly good time after ordering. +The potatoes in the "Cheese Fries"order had great presentation- I like the way the wedges were arranged, the color was inviting, and I like the crown of sourcream and chives on the top. The potatoes were thoroughly steamed. +The restrooms have motion-activated faucets. +Therestrooms were stocked with paper towels. +The toilets worked. +I strongly like the pictures of the women in the men'srestroom. Hey, I'm fading, not married. Cons: -Front reception service was cold and clearly eager to get rid of us. Greatqualities to have for an accountant, and a conditionally tolerable quality for a chef, but not a hostess. -Food quality isinconsistent. We ordered three identical steaks, medium. Mine was mostly blue-rare, my parents got an average of medium andmedium-rare each. Cooking levels varied within individual steaks as well; I for example had a bold bulk of blue-rare with a fewoff medium spots. Likewise, the steaks had varying salt and pepper, with some patches on the outside seeming to hint at a strongflavor, and other spots bland. -The "cheesy fries" are not very cheesy. There is some, yes, but in a very thin layer. -Thepotatoes' flavoring only is evident on the surface. Underneath, each wedge is just a potato-flavored steamed potato. -TheAsparagus was dry and very flexible. Salt grass is on top of their game. This 12oz ribeye was delicious with some herb rice. Also the country fried steak is... delicious but I can't decide if the country fried chicken is better it's so tender you can cut through with a fork.. and thesalad picture is a wedge salad, a chunk of iceberg lettuce topped with ranch and balsamic dressings and tomatoes and blue cheesecrumbles and chopped bacon.
