Had not been there in several years. The facility could use some updating and a good cleaning (my opinion). Also, the greeter... was a challenge. It seemed he was challenged to get off the chair and greet the customers. Meanwhile, the food was stilloutstanding and well presented. The server was very personable and professional. Read more
We got Carne Asada Fries & 1st off, the containers wasnt closed properly so the guacamole was coming out. Presentation looks... horrible. The fries are few and large curly fries. The sour cream or whatever sauce is used made the fries verrrrrry soggy. Butthe flavor is good. IF (very strong IF) we were to give El Gordito another try we'd ask for the guacamole & sour cream to be onthe side because having it on top for the small amount of time it took to get home, ruined it. EDIT: So we went again & gotthe family fajitas. Would not recommend. The taste is okay but you get the same amount of meat & veggies with a whole containerof rice, beans, lettuce, & a small container of cheese. Most definitely not enough meat & veggies. Great tex mex food at a reasonable prices. The staff is very nice and the margaritas are big a with a lot of flavor. Not... authentic Mexican food, but is very enjoyable and the place has great atmosphere. Read more
