I went to pick up my usual morning drinks and was greeted with rudeness and misinformation. Not only was the barista I spoke to,... Lydia, unprofessional while holding a leadership role there, but also the staff member assisting them willingly lied about "newprocesses" only this Starbucks is executing. As I read some other reviews, I see there is a common trend occurring towardsAfrican Americans and I surely hope we are incorrect. I highly recommend this Starbucks reevaluate those they place in leadroles because if the leadership is leading a poor example the team and business will suffer. Do better. Read more
I had a very unpleasant experience with Lydia this morning. Lydia made me aware that an ingredient for my usual order was not... available which I understood as it hasn't been there at all so far this week, and because of this I know there is an alternativethat other baristas can and have offered which I have accepted, but this barista did not do the same. Instead, Lydia displayedan impatient and rude demeanor in their tone by spitting words at me when I asked about the substitution option, which isunacceptable. I was not rude or abrupt with them when they told me they did not have the correct ingredient, but Lydia did nothave the same poise. I understand that mornings can be rough and fast paced but as a person working in the service industry, oneshould have a certain amount of grace when "assisting" a customer. Hopefully in the future Lydia can learn to practice patienceand better communication skills when helping other customers. Read more
The manager, Emily, is the worst manager I?ve ever witnessed. She?s very unprofessional and handled a situation with a customer... in the ugliest way. I witnessed it in total disbelief. I received the WORST service from someone who claimed to be a manager named Emily. I was there on Saturday, hadn?t been there... for 10 minutes and was told by her that ?she called my name 10 mins ago, that she didn?t like my attitude & that I rolled myeyes at her? She was VERY CONFRONTATIONAL and proceeded to argue with me. This was totally disrespectful and unprofessional!Once I received my order I sat down only to realize my receipt confirmed I had not been there for 10 mins STILL. I approachedEmily in a calm & civil manner, showed her my receipt and asked that she apologize for her outbursts & behavior because myreceipt states that I still hadn?t been there for 10 mins. She began to argue again saying that ?I rolled my eyes and that shedidn?t like my body language?
