I e been told about this location by several of my coworkers but have never had the time to stop here until today. I?m not sure... how this place gets anything less than 5 stars! The place is HUGE! Can?t even tell you how many it can seat, but it?s a lot! Thefood is great! All the employees are wicked friendly. It was very clean. The bathroom is wicked nice. They have a store with twofloors! I didn?t even make it to the second floor this time. That may be a good thing. Lol there?s always next time. They evenhave truck parking in the back whic was great because I was almost out of time when I got here. The parking for my 10 hr breakmade it possible for me to check this place out. Amazing place for homemade dishes. Great flavor, beautiful decorations and good prices. The store is also amazing! Loved it!
So....I used to love the salad bar in large part because of the shredded lettuce. I was really disappointed it was replaced with... that bagged mix. Every single time I come here they are either completely out of all donuts or they only have maple & caramelleft. These are there for obvious reasons, those flavors are gross. PLEEEASE start making MORE of the kinds people obviouslyLIKE. I was there at 8 am and STILL out of the good donuts. You have to be there when they open the doors I guess to get thegood donuts. Honestly I feel the buffet is a bit pricey. I like the foods on it but I am a 1-2 plate or salad & 1 plate & doneso it's not worth the price really. First experience at the Der Dutchman. Overall, not really impressed. $11.99 for the breakfast bar is a good deal, if you're okay... with mediocre food. The coffee was really good, however it was like pulling teeth trying to get a refill. The staff wassurprisingly unfriendly. I haven't tried out the apple butter yet or the banana cream pie I brought home, but I imagine myrating will still stay about a 3 star. Read more
