We love the throw-back atmosphere and the ice cream was, for the most part, delicious for everyone in our party. However, I do... not recommend the cookie dough ice cream - there were virtually zero cookie dough chunks in the serving. I went back to look inthe hand-dipper and the cookie dough container likewise had almost now cookie dough chunks - it looked like vanilla ice creamwith a dark speck here and there. Always friendly fun people here. Their Lemon ice is yummy, but I love the coffee dipped waffle cone with butter toffee ice... cream! Update to this review, we have now been there 3 different times and you are ALWAYS out of Lemon Ice. That is my wife'sfavorite as she doesn't typically eat ice cream. We walked out. I am not buying ice cream for myself when you are repeatedlyout of Lemon Ice. One time I get it. Three times...well makes us not want to visit. Great ice cream! Great atmosphere! I really enjoyed this place and the workers were very polite . We went later at night and... enjoyed walking around the area afterwards to look around. Walking outside of there makes you want to stop and eat even morefood when you go close to the corner and smell the amazing pizza being cooked or the smokehouse the other direction. Hands downwill be going back to this place to try one of their many other flavors or even shaved ice! The scoops they have us were big andthe waffle cones were nice and crispy not stale ! Do yourself a favor and stop by it resembles a 1950s style ice cream parlor.I'm trying to get my review badge which is why I am making my reviews longer but this place needed a longer one! Read more
