Laud Shawarma is the BEST Naija shawarma there is around. The food is great value for money and the taste is authentic
I really wanted to submit a 5-star review, but the high prices and small portion sizes makes this a miss for me. I ordered two... "buff" shrimp shawarma and was disappointed by the ultra slim burrito style shawarma with very little shrimp inside. If I'mpaying over $13 for what essentially is a burrito... I expect for it to be substantial (no drink or side dish offered) . Theflavors and spices used are great but what I received is not worth the price I was charged. Basically, I ended up with 2 cabbageand carrot filled slim burritos with 3 miniature pieces of shrimp. Lastly the location is difficult to find which made theexperience even more unpleasant. Crazy! Walk into a photo studio and what should be an office is home to Laud Shwarma. No sign above. Small sign in window. Knock... on the office door. I've had Nigerian food. Never had Nigerian schwarma. It's pretty cabbagey with a sauce that is reminiscentof a spicy thousand island, wrapped in a tortilla wrap, finished on a panini press. The fries are thick small sweet potatochips. The chicken is chopped fine and seasoned, not vertical grill. The beef is a seasoned ground patty chopped. A little sweetfor my tastes.
