We had our baby shower in October and my wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience at The Lodge at Mountain Lakes. The... owner Laura was really accommodating and is one of the sweetest people we have met. The venue was so beautiful and the staff wasincredible. Had to wait 10 minutes for a drink . Waited 45 minutes for our meals. The meals were not great chicken wings were under cooked... my mashed potatoes were not made from real potatoes. My husband had gotten cowboy sliders said they were like Jimmy Deansausage with some barbecue sauce. Diffently will not be returning . Also very over priced for the food they serve. This is a magical place for special dining. A must see the sunset at night. Come to enjoy, rest, recover and be mesmerized by... the surroundings. I lived off of Mountain Lake for years and my own cocktail hour was always enhanced by the view. Read more
