More current review because I may have moved to Bend purely for this restaurant (I’m kidding…kind of): Our waitress (I... believe her name was Ivy) was extremely personable and attentive. She was happy to chat while keeping things professional. Shemade great suggestions and conversation. The steak and fries was delicious. The chimichurri was one of the best I've had.Everyone in my party was thrilled and satisfied. I also want to add that they may have had one of the best chocolate moussesthat I have ever had. It was rich, chocolatey, and so so yummy. This restaurant holds a special place in my heart. I went herein November of 2021-- so this review is a bit late (I previously posted it on Yelp but thought I may as well share here too).This was a really great experience. The atmosphere is upscale, but not overly so. It's got a really nice ambiance. It isdowntown so the location is great. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely go back again. My boyfriend got the tomahawk steak andhe enjoyed it very much. I got the steak and fries and I'd highly recommend that dish as well. As a starter we also got the crabcorn dogs (I don't eat sea food, but my boyfriend really liked them!). Dessert was great also. Our server was very kind. We were visiting the Bend area for a family reunion, and the fellas wanted to have a nice steak meal. Blacksmith was able to... accommodate our large party of 16 in a private room. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but after 6pm many business parking spotsare usable. The receptionist was friendly and guided our group towards the private room. Our culinary adventure started withthe Garlic Truffle Fries, Beet Salad and Poke. All were fantastic, especially the Beet Salad being a surprisingly flavorfulselection. After a few drinks, we ordered several entrees including the Tomahawk Steak with Mashed Potatoes. Needless to saywe did share it, and it came out cooked to perfection. Great service! Brought my wife here for her birthday and the chef kindly gave her a birthday dish. The food was great and fresh!
