My husband and I are OTR trucking and stopped here for our 1 year wedding anniversary dinner as we'd been traveling all day on... our way to Jackson Missouri. Had never heard of it or been there, just found on Google and they had a place close we could parkthe semi. It was nice and clean on the outside and appealing looking. Right off the highway which was a giant bonus for us. Wehad a great dinner! Talked to a couple locals seated nearby that inquired about my husband's shirt cause they could tell weweren't from around there lol, they were very nice and cool to talk to. We both had a great dinner, the rolls they bring to thetable are fresher than fresh. It was like taking a bite of the freshest roll ever, it was at the perfect baking point. Was visiting my sister and brother in law and visited the Benton location twice. First visit the food was good, the second not... as consistent. We eat lunch here often and have ordered take out a couple of times. I don't think we have ever had a bad meal. Our usual meals... are the 6 oz sirloin medium rare with mushrooms and grilled onions and grilled veggies. And, we love the rolls. Read more
Absolutely horrible! We came in at 7pm on Friday night. We only waited about 15 minutes to get a table. We spent $90 on our... ticket for 3 people. The ribeye I ordered was supposed to be med rare and got it almost blue. The server suggested getting theveggies grilled and when I got them they were hardly cooked let alone grilled. I got mushrooms and onions extra for my steakand the onions were hardly cooked and the mushrooms were little bitty pieces. Hardly worth the money I paid for it. The tipsthat my fiancee got were well done and not med rare as ordered. The smashed loaded potatoes had no flavor and when we went touse the pepper grinder it didn't work. My daughter's food according to her was "okay", but I could tell she was not impressedwith the cook on her sirloin. The server was way too busy and barely had a chance to refill our drinks.
