Awesome food, professional staff, great cocktails, great location. Has no business being this good but the chef, ingredients and... menu are to die for. Humboldt cheese and tataki stand out in apps, and honestly any main we've had was stellar (all fish, steaks, poultry). Been there 10+ times over past 2 years and will keep coming back. Highly recommend! Read more

Nice, spacious, comfortable and friendly. Nice menu but not stuffy. We've enjoyed most things that we've gotten here. The view... is nice near the window. The staff is professional. I wish there were more vegetarian choices. There is a rotating vegetariangrain or pasta dish and it's hit or miss. This last time with a friend we tried the duck appetizer and it was good but needed tobe served with more crackers or bread and mustard. The meat dishes are cooked well. I like going here because it's a comfortableclassy place. The food is good and there is rarely a wait. It is slightly off the beaten path. Plenty of easy parking nearby. And after dinner you can go across the street and walk on the sidewalk along the bluff. It makes for a nice evening. Read more

I’m trying to give them the benefit of the doubt with 2 stars. We planned a very special girls trip and made our reservation... months in advance for this past Saturday. We had to wait 50 minutes to be seated for our 8pm reservation and didn’t get ourfood until after 10:30pm. The food was fair, not enough to wait hours for. The staff made us feel unvalued and very little wasdone to rectify the situation beyond 1 small apology and a comped dessert. I would caution to schedule an important or bigcelebratory event here. Disappointing! We came here to the hotel for our wedding anniversary spent $500 for room. Made dinner reservations for 7 pm for... dinner. Was told by hostess reservations were worthless they were not seating anyone as kitchen could not keep up. They kepttaking people on wait list. We waited 1 hour never seated end up walking downtown for another place to eat. First time visitSt. Josh MI. I will never come back. All downtown restaurants cannot support tourists . All eating places 2 hour wait timeeven for pizza. Crazy Read more

We were in town for the Art Fair and had heard great things about Bistro on the Boulevard so I made a reservation for 3 p.m.... several days in advance. We walked in at 3 and noticed the gate was closed and the sign said because of staffing issues theywouldn't open until 5 p.m. I turned and told my husband, I guess we're out of luck. Just then the hostess approached andasked my name and told us they were going to honor our reservation! So we had the lovely terrace all to ourselves. Service, cocktails and food all very good. I don't think many restaurants these days would be so accommodating so we will definitely beback! Read more
