After reading stellar reviews, and I was craving something fluffy, I stopped in. Cases were full of fresh donuts, on a Thursday... at lunchtime. Back in the day, using potatoes in your donut meant a much fluffier airy donut. So, I get why they do. Here's mygripe. They are fat in size, but somewhat meh in flavor. If you are looking for a puffy fluffy roll with manufactured icing ontop, then this is your place. $9 for a half dozen rolls basically with paste on the top. While the donuts are not sickeningsweet, the custard they use for the filled donuts is bland. I semi enjoyed the one with the toasted pecans on it. The rest werejust pomme de terrible. So basically, all fluff here, and I'd hesiTATEr to come back. Read more
