From 1983 to 1993 I lived down the block from Bongo Burger, on the first block of Regent St. When I, and later my wife and I,... needed a quick, delicious and deeply satisfying meal, this was our go-to place. At least twice a week for three months afterour baby arrived. We loved it! Meat on the sandwiches was always moist, well salted and very tasty. Falafel was the bomb.Fries were always hot and crisp. Back then they had something called a "luleh kebab," which was heaven. I'm so glad they'restill going strong. I'll be in the area next Spring and can't wait to stop in! Read more
