Tunnel Tops had newly opened upon our visit on a Monday midday. Glorious views, wide paths, lawns, interesting garden bed... plantings, children's play ground. There is even a fire pit! Visitor centre was interesting, nice souvenirs not over priced.There were families and overseas visitors there . Lush gelato has so many amazing flavors. It's been a long time since I came back and it's still as good. The lemon sorbet with... dark chocolate was heavenly. We also got the malt milk with chocolate chunks. I remember the last time I came here, I got theearl grey flavor because it tasted just like boba milk tea without the boba. Good ice cream but sadly I couldn?t even enjoy the ice cream because of the horrible service. The woman working was extremely... rude to us. She had no tolerance for us discussing amongst ourselves what we wanted to order and when a miscommunicationhappened between us and her she stared at us angrily and then hissed at us ?What do you want!??. Then she annoyingly took downour order (which she got wrong btw) and rudely said ?enjoy? before leaving. I say this as a die-hard ice cream afficionado - this is the best gelato in the Bay area, hands down. Unfortunately they... recently raised their prices pretty significantly - closer to SF pricing, which makes me sad - but I think it's still worth thetrip. Read more
