Wonderful little restaurant. You have to remember. It opens at 8:30. It is a little bakery that was recommended to me for lunch.... However, I ended up going for breakfast. Their oatmeal was unbelievable. Which is odd to say about oatmeal. Great little find. Read more

I'm from out of town, but make it a point to stop here when I'm in Berkeley. Delicious! Grabbed brunch, ricotta toast was... divine! Upsidedown cake, spectacular! Sourdough waffle w/strawberries, delightful! Staff is helpful, but they are busy so benice to them!! Wearing a mask for the duration of your order is not a huge ask! A great find on 8th St in amongst a wonderful enclave of other food and beverage related businesses. We arrived around lunch... time and although there was a small queue, it moved quickly and we were easily able to find comfortable seating with both shadeand sun on this glorious day, when we had finished ordering. The daily menu was plastered on the windows and we ordered a mezzeplatter, chicken and turnip sandwich and some soft boiled eggs, all of which were exceedingly tasty. I also ordered a coffee,having seen they had a La Marzoco espresso machine, from which i knew i won?t be disappointed, and of course i was not. Overalla great place to eat and chill in the sun, especially before having dessert at Third Cuklure! Highly recommended. Read more
