This place is nostalgic for me. I grew up in Berkley and going here was always a treat. Over the years it hasn?t changed much.... The food is made fresh and not mass produced. The root beer and orange freezes are delicious, as are their coney?s. Ispecifically like this location because you have the option to drive in and eat in your car. You push a button on the box, theytake your order, and bring out your food on a tray that attaches to your window. Read more
I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger (plain) with a fry and chocolate shake, and it was so delicious! I was a little upset... that they do not offer DoorDash or Uber Eats, but in a way, it keeps a vintage quality about itself, because its like a drivethru where you park and eat.
