First of all the atmosphere and decor are so nice! Walking in everything is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly. We were... seated in the back area and had a lovely waitress. We got a couple of beers and ordered a pizza. Honestly this is one of my newfavorite sit down pizza places. We normally have a big take out box when we go out but this time only took a slice home becausewe absolutely devoured it. This place is great! Read more
First experience at Crispelli?s. It?s a beautiful space with a friendly atmosphere. We ordered to take it home but I wish we... had dined in. The space is lovely and smells are intoxicating! We had pizzas, bread and Caesar salad. All tastedgreat-although I wish there was more salad in that box. Overall a great experience. Been here once before and had a decent experience; however, the second time around and first time bringing the family was the... worst and will be the last time I visit a Crispelli?s. I was a occasional flyer at the West Bloomfield location, but this timeit ruined it for good. First, let?s start off with finding a clean table to sit at. When we came in we chose sitting in the nonserve area and had the absolute worst experience trying to find a clean table to sit at. Though the hostess cleaned the tableafter being asked to, tables were dirty because the bus boys have a hour break. I understand having a break, but then it shouldfall on the hostess or manager to ensure tables are clean. BUT what really was the Killer was the pathetic and worst Capresesandwich in the world? just see the pics. The bread was burn, very dry and lacking and truly lacking at least a decent amount ofthe key ingredients. I should also state that when we came in was absolutely slow, no more than three tables, so people can?tsay it was because they were probably busy. It comes down to not caring about the job, serve and maintaining a clean environmentfor customers. It also took a bit to find silverware that didn?t have food crusted on the folks. Yuck!!!! It was reallydisappointing for I was the one that recommended to my wife for the last time I was there it looked great on my coworkers plate.It was totally a different style of bread and was loaded with goodies! The food was very good. I had a pizza and my wife had the plank salmon sandwich. Both were excellent. We sat in the sever area... in the back room. The service was awful. She brought our menus and took our drink order and took forever to come back to takeour food order. When finally she came back and took our order it took a very long time to get our food. They brought out mywife?s meal first and my pizza came out about 10 minutes later. After we were done my wife asked for a box but it never came.When she finally showed up to ask if we wanted the bill we said yes and a box for the pizza. Once she brought the bill she alsobrought the pizza box but we had to ask for a small box again for my wife?s sandwich. We would go back to try it again becausethe food was good. But we would definitely sit in the self service section and hopefully have a better experience. Read more
