This was our first time here. Ordered the 3 meat club. It was really good. Only draw back is no cheese or bacon. The french... fries were outstanding, better then the fries from boardwalk. Our server, Riley, was outstanding as well. If your in the westOC/Berlin/ Ocean pines area it's definitely a worth while stop to grab something to eat and enjoy the small town diner feeling. I wanted to update my original review now that I've been here a couple times. The food is still amazing but I just wanted to... point out how fantastic the servers are. We've had 3 different people and they were all unbelievably nice. I've never in my lifebeen to a restaurant that has such wonderful service. I would recommend this restaurant if you're on vacation anywhere in thewest oc area and looking to get away from the typical bar scene restaurants with an overpriced limited menu. Read more
We live and die by reviews for new restaurants. Most of the time, good reviews mean good food, service, etc. This is one of... those times when that's not the case. First off, our waiter was very VERY polite. The salad that came with my gyro was fresh andquite good. That's all I can say good. The eggs my hubby ordered over medium were absolutely raw. Sent them back, took almost20 minutes for new eggs. We told the waiter, just throw those eggs back on the grill. So it won't take forever. Didn't happen.The scrapple was very odd, super hard on the outside but almost liquefied inside, and the home fries were just ok. Can't sayabout the toast that came with his platter because he never got it after sending back the first set because it was ice cold.When the waiter brought second set to the table, hubby asked for check. The waiter said sure, and took the toast back with him.Very odd. When we came in, I asked if the fries were regular or seasoned. He told me plain old fries with nothing on them. Iordered fries. They were seasoned fries. I hate that stuff. That's why I asked BEFORE ordering them. I asked for my gyro withlight sauce. It was just dripping onto the plate, there was so much on it. Never asked about drink refills for our very emptycups. Tried 4 times to get his attention to address the issues but we felt he just ignored us unless he was passing by the tableand we would almost yell to get his attention. We won't be returning. There's plenty of restaurants in the area that can get asimple egg platter, a gyro with fries and a drink refill right. Read more
Went for dinner, service was great ,friendly waitress. I got liver and onions and was very pleased ,not sure about the mashed... potatoes. Brother and his wife got the fish , big portion and was good . My wife got the meat loaf and i tasted it and i didntcare for it . However i got the beef stew that came with the meal and it was about the best i have ever had at a restaurant ! Tasted very much like my mother used to make. I will be back to try other things. Love this place came in 2020 now back in 2022. Great staff came in half hour before closing staff made us feel welcomed and... loved. Love the feel of these small dinners. You don't get those type of feel where we live. I would drive the 4 hours to justcome and get a bite from here again. Highly recommend going here if you want that small town dinner feel. Read more
