The wings are amazing. I also enjoyed the loaded Fries and the cheesesteak egg rolls. Friendly environments and great staff
This was my second visit and the second time that service was slow and the food was mediocre. I asked for a beer list (they... have at least 10 beers on draft plus plenty of bottles) and they didn't have a beer list nor did I see any boards listing whatbeers they offered and the taps are on the opposite side of the bar making them hard to see. The menu listed Jumbo Wings whichI imagined were full wings with all three parts so I ordered them and what came were regular normal, typical wings in flats ordrums, nothing was Jumbo about them. Our server came by about every 10-15 minutes after my bottle was empty and dry. It wascrazy dark in there like they didn't want to turn on the lights and use electricity. Read more
Ordered some buffalo wings to go as a special treat for my dad. The sauce was tasty but unfortunately the wings were overcooked.... Also, it doesn't seem right that you have to pay extra for the blue cheese, ranch and celery, particularly considering the wingsalone worked out to $1.40 apiece. Reluctant to return, but I might give them another shot considering that the sauce itself wasgood. I guess any establishment can have an off day...even one that's "famous" for its wings. Read more
Tonight was my first time visiting The Golden Nugget Tavern and couldn?t love my first time experience more. Food was great,... environment cool calm and collected Patrons were friendly. All the things you?d look for in a place when looking for a goodnight out with family and friends. Thanks guys. Will be back tomorrow to pick up some wings. Love the house wing. The take out food is usually wrong or missing something. But this tops the cake. My girlfriend and I ordered food, chicken... bites for her, cheesesteak for me and fries to share. This bar tender who was an older woman with short hair walks up to us andreaches in the basket of fries and takes a fry out and starts talking about how crazy it looks. I said did you really just takethat without asking. She said ?well I was going to eat it. Look how crazy it is.? So my girlfriend said ?what?s crazy is youjust took that out of our food without asking? and she threw the fry in the trash and huffed off like we offended her. I?venever seen that in my life.
