My husband and I moved to Berthoud months ago and have been meaning to check out Bradford's ever since. The only thing we regret... is not visiting sooner! We went in on a Friday evening and it was pretty busy. But everyone was very friendly and the waitwasn't too bad. I was excited to try to prime rib (absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly) and my husband ordered the shortribs (equally as tasty). The mashed potatoes that came with my meal may be the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I alsoreally liked that they had a salad bar. We both opted for the clam chowder though and it was perfect on a cool fall day. Eventhough they were really busy, our waitress did a great job being attentive and was so friendly! I was extra impressed because itseemed like the manager (I'm just assuming) was helping with bussing tables and seating people. We're so happy to have such agreat restaurant nearby to our wonderful new home and can't wait to visit again! Read more

We were pretty disappointed by our visit here. First off, it's called "grub and grog" which is a line from a very famous sea... shanty. I was expecting pirate, Irish, or at minimum seafood. Instead it is some sort of identity-less generic food kind ofplace. We ordered a "1/2 pound" Reuben that had very little meat on it. The worst offense? It had that white processedcheese-food product in it instead of real Swiss. How do you mess up one of the the most common sandwiches in the U.S.? Myfood also took an eternity to arrive. Everyone else at my table was done eating before I even saw my food. I bauxite had acouple of bites and then packed my food to go so that i wasn't holding everyone else at the table hostage. The restaurantoffered me nothing to make up for it. I don't see any reason to return. Read more

Their food has gotten so much better as they've been around. I like to leave a review after I've visited a place a few times... and I could say that Bradford's has really gotten into their stride. More of a 4.5/5 for food, but, compared to when they firststarted, much improved. The service is always really good there as well and the bartender gave us a free drink while we waitedfor takeout one evening. Great service! We'll be back! Read more
